SHARNA JACKSON

Sharna Jackson is a bestselling author who writes about murder, mystery and art. Her debut novel, High-Rise Mystery (2019), won Best Book for Younger Readers at the 2020 Waterstones Book Prize. Her next novel, Street Art Mystery, publishes in February 2026. She develops books encouraging arts participation, including activity books with Tate and Black Artists Shaping the World. As Southbank Centre’s Imagine A Story Author, she co-created London/Londoff with over 1,200 school children. She was formerly Artistic Director at Site Gallery and editor of Tate Kids website. She curates Ensemble, highlighting ethnic minority talent in UK games, and was Deputy Story Lead on adventure game Saltsea Chronicles.
