Submissions for the 2026 Nero Book Awards are now open!
Please carefully read the Terms and Conditions of entry before preparing your submission.
All submissions must be made via the online form below before the deadline of 5pm, Wednesday 24th June 2026 BST.
The form should be completed by the publisher of the book and the author should have confirmed their permission for their personal data to be provided as part of this submission.

The personal data captured in this form will be used to enter a book to the 2026 Nero Book Awards. We take data privacy seriously and handle all personal data securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, nerobookawards.com/gdpr. We will share this personal data with our partners who administer and promote the Nero Book Awards, namely The Booksellers Association and Riot Communications. Annual turnover for the last financial year above £5 million – £5,000 (plus VAT)Annual turnover for the last financial year below £5 million – £1,000 (plus VAT)
By submitting this form, you confirm that:
If the entered book should win Book of the Year, the publisher will contribute a further £5,000 (plus VAT) for promotional activity.
If the entered book should be shortlisted, the publisher will provide a minimum of 10 copies for promotional purposes.
If the entered book is a Category Award Winner, the publisher will provide a further minimum of 20 copies for promotional purposes.
If the entered book should win Book of the Year, the publisher will provide an additional minimum of 20 copies for promotional purposes.
I understand it is a strict condition of entry that publishers agree to make it a priority to ensure that authors whose works are submitted or called in make themselves available for publicity and events from shortlist stage onwards and that Category Award winning authors must be able to participate in person in the awards ceremony.
The publisher will send three hard copies of this submitted title to the Awards administrator as soon as possible and arriving by Wednesday 1st July 2026 at the latest, unless an exemption is agreed by the Administrator, via the following address:
