ABOUT
CAFFÈ NERO
Caffè Nero was founded in 1997 to bring people together in a warm and welcoming environment.
Armed with a passion for coffee, founder Gerry Ford had a vision to create traditional Italian cafés across Europe; places that would serve high quality coffee and serve as neighbourhood meeting spots.
If you’ve visited a Caffè Nero store, you’ll know they’re a home away from home, filled with books and soft leather chairs, café stools or private booths. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to find a spot and stay as long as you like.
Caffè Nero has a rich history of supporting the arts. Over the years, it has supported arts and design institutions such as Tate Modern, Tate Britain, National Portrait Gallery, British Museum, The National Gallery, the V&A, the Royal Academy of Arts and Central St Martins. Caffè Nero has also discovered, championed, and promoted music artists through its long-standing, dedicated music programme, including artists such as Jack Savoretti.
With its brand values centred around quality, craft and community, plus its strong existing connection to the arts, Caffè Nero is the perfect partner for these Awards.
