The 16-strong shortlist, comprising of four books in each category, was announced on 3^rd December 2024. The category winners will then be announced on 14^th January 2025. The 2024 Nero Gold Prize will be announced live at a ceremony in London on 5^th March 2025, when the book of the year will be selected from the four category winners.
