The 16-strong shortlist, comprising of four books in each category, will be announced on 3^rd December 2026. The category winners will then be announced on 21^st January 2027. The 2026 Nero Gold Prize will be announced live at a ceremony in London in early March 2027, when the book of the year will be selected from the four category winners.
