The announcement of our first shortlists – four books per category across Children’s Fiction, Debut Fiction, Fiction and Non-Fiction – took place on 21st November 2023. You can read more about the shortlisted books here.

The winner of the Nero Gold Prize Book of the Year 2023 was presented with their award at a ceremony on the 14th March. You can read about the overall winner here.
