DR BEN GARROD
Dr Ben Garrod is Professor of Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement at the University of East Anglia. He is an award-winning BBC science broadcaster, having presented a range of series and programmes, including Secrets of Bones, Baby Chimp Rescue and Attenborough and the Mammoth Graveyard, alongside Sir David Attenborough. He has hosted numerous radio and Audible Original series and has written two series of books, Extinct and Ultimate Dinosaurs. Ben grew up in Norfolk and has lived and worked all over the world, with chimpanzees in Africa to polar bears in the Arctic. Now based in Bristol, Ben’s work focuses on increasing the accessibility of science for a broad audience from a wide background.
