Submissions for this year’s Awards closed on Friday 21st July 2023.

The announcement of our first shortlists – four books per category across Children’s Fiction, Debut Fiction, Fiction and Non-Fiction – will take place on 21st November 2023.

The 16 books will be selected by judges from across the world of books. You can read more about them here.

The Category winners will be announced on 16th January 2024 and, of those, one book will be selected as the overall winner – The Nero Gold Prize – by a final panel of judges in February 2024.
